DTI's synthetic urine, Surine, is non-biological, completely homogeneous, and very conducive for general research and commercial purposes without the odor, foam, and disposal issues associated with human urine.

DTI's Surine positive and negative synthetic urine controls are widely used for qualitative analysis.  Our negative and positive urine controls are made using a synthetic urine matrix. This prevents our having to address biological handling hazards and provides the added benefit of lot reproducibility.  The stabilizers in our Surine provide for lot stability enduring for up to three years, reducing client validity testing and enhancing lab productivity.

DTI’s OraFlx, is a recent addition with the same characteristics of Surine, but for saliva-related applications.  It is a superior product in a field of few competitors.

Surine E is also non-biological, homogeneous, and ideal for low trace metal testing.  Environmental labs have increasingly used this product in numerous applications.

Surine F is also non-biological, homogeneous, and ideal for fiber testing.  Underwriter Labs led a study on mattress safety with this product and numerous applications have been performed in diaper testing.

The most recent product introductions are Ecolinox and Salmonox, which are very safe products utilized to break the cell walls of e coli and salmonella found in various media, including water. Once detected, these bacteria are then destroyed.

DTI's De-Tox thin-layer chromatography drug detection system includes both A and B tubes, disposable concentration discs and cups, and chromatograms for use in rapid thin-layer chromatography for the separation and identification of a wide range of basic, neutral and acidic drugs of abuse.
